Before doing the mask, we must prepare all the ingredients first. The ingredients are tissue paper, paper towel, flour and water, poster colours, paint brushes, aluminium foil, scissors and penknife. After preparing all the ingredients, we can start to do our mask.
The steps are
1) Using our own face as the mole. Place the tissue paper on my face as first layer. My partner Lam Xin Yee is helping me to do my mask.
2) Add some water to the tissue paper to fix the tissue paper on my face. Press the tissue paper tight to my face to let the tissue paper have my appearance.
3) Adding the tissue paper one per one to my face and every layer must put some water to the tissue paper.
4) After adding several pieces of tissue papers, add the paper towels because paper towel is hard compare to the tissue paper.
5) Add many layers of paper towels to my face to let the mask is hard. Adding every layer of paper towels must put some water on it to fix the paper towels.
6) After adding many layers of paper towels, add several pieces of tissue papers again because tissue paper is smooth compare to the paper towel.
7) Let the mask dry after adding many layers of tissue papers and paper towels. I just waiting my mask dry by lying at the bed.
This is the mask after all the tissue papers and paper towels dry.
8) Take the aluminium foil and make a shape same with the mask.This is to give the mask have a holder when I want to paint my mask.
9) Cut out the area of my eye on my mask.
10) Take the flour and add some water to it. After stir the mixer, add hot water to it and stir again. The mixer will become glue.
11) Paint the glue inside and outside the mask. This is to let the mask more harder.
12) After the glue dry, I mix the poster colour to make it same with my face colour. I started to paint my mask.
13) I painted my face, my lip and my eye brow. After all the poster colour dry, my mask was done.
